Some tips to help with bike set up...
Vogel Mountain Bike Park was the fifth and last location of Projekt 5. On the trail which is 1,2 kilometers long I was riding with Gašper Kos. Even it is short trail it has everything and it's perfect for the training. From the trail you can see Triglav, the Slovenian highest mountain, and the view in general from Vogel Mountain Bike Park on the Alps and lake Bohinj is spectacular! I had the pleasure of traveling to Hawaii for teaching BMX and skateboarding to kids living on US military bases on the island of Oahu. There are two skate parks on the Hickam/Pearl Harbor base and both have a plethora of different ramps, wedges and rails. About 40 kids ages 6-16, participated in a 3-hour class for 5-days learning the building blocks of BMX & Skateboarding. I was the BMX coach and Ryan Seifried was the skateboard coach. Here is an interview with pics from the military newspaper: http://www.hookelenews.com/renowned-bmx-stunt-rider-teaches-joint-base-kids/
Yet another podium at the IXS European cup in Pila, Italy and 5th place for me. I was aiming a bit higher after finishing 4th in seeding, but I made a huge mistake which had cost me valuable time but overall I'm happy with the result and can't wait for the upcoming races.
World Cup finals saw a new venue in a small mountain town of Meribel, set high in the French Alps. Meribel is more well known for it's skiing, but the mountain biking is just as good with it's steepness, technical variety, and speeds. For the final round of the 2104 season, the racing was exciting and to the wire.
Mountain Bike Park Javornik was my next destination. I was riding with the man behind the park Sebastjan Stres.
