			<description><![CDATA[Understood. This is quite common with most elite climbers. I don't think it has to be that mind-bending. Running, as with cycling, and swimming are considered cyclical technical sports, where one is repeating the motion pattern repeatedly. Once the skill-set is achieved for the given pace, working on the physiological demands of the sport makes the most sense. Climbing has a wide variety of movement patterns. In this case, setting up a training plan can be as easy as climbing to improve skill for part of the year, and climbing to improve the endurance for the new skill-set following that.]]></description>
