- About me
I was born in the sign of Capricorn :-) 14. 1. 1977 under the highest mountain of Slovenia (Triglav 2864m), so maybe climbing is in my genes.
I began climbing when I was 10 years old, in the mountains with my father. Soon I realized sport climbing is more fun and I start to train more and did my first competitions in 1990. I had been competing for 17 years, I was more then 30 times on the podium of international competitions, my best result was becoming a World Champion in 2001, but for me most important was to win Master in Serre Chevalier (2002) and Arco (2001).
But more then competitions I love rock climbing, staying in the nature, discovering new places, new people. So in 2006 I stopped competing and devoted myself totally to rock climbing. Now I enjoy the most in multipitch routes, the wall I like the most is El Capitan in Yosemite which I climbed already 4 times, allways missing a little bit to free it, so this stays my dream.
Otherwise my »results« that I am proud of are: 250 routes harder then 8a,
Vizija 8c in Osp, Hotel Supramonte 8b Sardinia (multipitch), Tom et je ris 8b+, Verdon, some 8a+ on sight…
My other passions are skydiving and yoga. Yes, I am a bit hyperactive:-)
To live the life I live, I have to thank to my sponsors: Five Ten, Petzl, Five Ten, Prana and Slovenian Army, where I am employed as an athlete.

It’s time to write something, now when my energy is back In the future my blog will be probably a bit different as you were used to; less climbing stuff. But I hope you will keep reading it with interest.
As you could conclude from the last sentence of my last blog, I am pregnant. I am very happy, but the first three months were much harder than I imagined (actually I didn’t know what to expect). - 2 years ago
