- About me I grew up in Rochester, NY, and though I am a lifelong athlete (I was a competitive gymnast and diver growing up), I didn’t discover climbing until I was about 24 years old and lived in Ft. Collins, CO where I had attended college, though an instant obsession began. In the last 12 years, I have enjoyed all aspects of the sport, dabbling a little in trad (terrifying!), mountaineering (terrifying!), sport climbing, and now mostly bouldering. I'm a crazy dog lady and run a pet adoption program.
