In the spring 2013, I went to Niagara Glen with some friends. It was my first time at this bouldering place. At the first moment, I didn’t have any expectation and I didn’t think that the park was so beautiful. I was lucky that my friend David invited me to go. Now, I can not wait to come back... In this post, I will talk about the V12 problem that I did. Next time, I will talk about the whole trip. The first day, I was so exited because I was feeling in very...

Greig Seitz Climbs Bambi 8A+/V12 - Greig Seitz

Greig Seitz Climbs Bambi 8A+/V12 - Greig Seitz
February 20, 2013 -  Greig Seitz

Recently, I went up to Matthew’s Winter Park. The area up there has mainly two boulders; the Hillside Boulder and the Millennium Boulder. As I went up to this new area, I only had one boulder in mind. This boulder is called Bambi. Bambi is an amazing roof in Matthew’s Winter Park. This boulder consists of multiple big moves through a steep roof. The redpoint crux is a long move to a fairly shallow two finger pocket. After I climbed through the pocket, I climbed through a technical slab to top it out. I was super psyched...

Have you ever experienced that moment just after you hurt yourself when you stop, hold your breath, scrunch up your face and hold on to the area of pain, waiting to see if it goes away, hoping that it was just a shock and that you are actually okay. I lay on the bouldering mat curled up in a ball but the pain wasn’t going away. All I could think of was the noise I heard when I hit the mat. A few deep breaths helped me to compose myself. A short while passed and I decided to try...

This is my first blog as a new Five Ten Youth Team member. I'm so psyched to be part of the team. I was hoping to get a sponsorship, but Five Ten has always been my favorite climbing shoes company, so that makes it really exciting! I just got my first pair of Team 5.10 shoes mailed to me just in time for US Nationals...

Mint Vermont Weather, an FA and a Trip to Arkansas, With Brian Bittner
November 27, 2011 -  Brian Bittner

This year has been a much different one in my climbing career. It started off as recent year's have with a trip South, some local spring climbing and regular training in the gym. As the weather got warmer and the climbing got a bit lack luster, work starting picking up. I run a business as an antique dealer and travel to shows throughout the Northeast to setup at shows. I found myself especially busy this year. I had more house calls, found more merchandise and went to more antique shows to sell. The result of this was significantly less...
