SCS Nationals – Its Not Over Until its Over - Matt Grossman

SCS Nationals – Its Not Over Until its Over - Matt Grossman
July 25, 2014 -

It was day 3 and I was on the wall in semi-finals at the USA Sport Climbing National Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. I was only a few moves from the highpoint for the day. I shook out for a few more seconds and then it was go time. I took a deep breath and made my next move to a crimp. Then the next and the next. Since the competition was being held at Stone Summit, my new home gym, I was pretty happy to have the opportunity to participate. I have to admit, I do not get...

As my summer draws to a close, I figured I might as well share my many adventures before my engineering class schedule becomes too difficult to manage. Hopefully this will tie you over until then! My summer started out in June with a trip to the Teva Mountain Games in Vail for the annual Bouldering World Cup. Vail is definitely one of my favorite competitions of the year. Besides having some awesome boulder problems in the comp itself,...
