Edyta Ropek, athlete supported by Five Ten, will take part in prestigious World Games competitions, which will take place in late July and early August in Cali, Colombia. Champion of speed climbing is awarded a qualification from the International Federation of Sport Climbing.
Competition came to an end in the speed world cup 2012 series. Five Ten athlete Edyta Ropek after last event in Mokpo was classified at fourth position in WC ranking. She is the best non Russian athlete throughout the all cycle. This was also for her breaking through season, as she managed to climb in 8,90 second during WCh in Paris – it’s her personal best, and one off the countless results in the world.
The fifth edition of this year’s speed World Cup was held in amazing setting for Upland of Qinghai Plateau in China. Edyta wasn’t a favorite of that event. In second race she unfortunately fell off the wall. She was classified in 10th place. The final spacing is the darkest of the possible scenarios. In all final races she was spaced with the strongest athletes in...

Rolling into Yosemite with a high level of psyche I parked...
I’m after Championships in Paris. Those were my 7-th world championships in career. Great climbing show, on its way to the world of big sport events. For me championships are always important, I prepare for them all the year, doing everything to build form on exact day of my start.
I am currently typing this from my new college dorm room in Kennedy Hall at Northeastern University in Boston! As my summer draws to a close, I figured I might as well share my many adventures before my engineering class schedule becomes too difficult to manage. Hopefully this will tie you over until then! My summer started out in June with a trip to the Teva Mountain Games in Vail for the annual Bouldering World Cup. Vail is definitely one of my favorite competitions of the year. Besides having some awesome boulder problems in the comp itself,...
