First i had been climbing in Rocklands 3 years ago but i haven´t enjoyed it to much due to two knee injuries and really bad shape. This year i was so surprised about all the amazing classic boulders and of course of the incredible landscape! Nearly the whole time i was going from one area to the next trying to repeat all the amazing classic boulders like Shozoloza, Black Shadow and Black Velvet...... At the end of the trip i started trying some of the harder lines but then i was running out of time. The time i spend in...
Hello! It's been a "while" since my last post... Last summer I went to Rocklands and climbed a bunch of amazing stuff there. For examle Blackshadow, Shosholoza, Macho King, Amphiteater, to mention some of the ones I liked most. This summer I had a trip in Europe. First I visited Magic Wood. I felt really strong, but wasn't able to climb any of my projects. I was close to send One summer in Paradise at my last day, but hand slipped on the very last move. I would like to blame the hot...
My time at the Rocklands is coming to an end, and I feel sadness just from typing that sentence. Its been a crazy last few weeks; aside from the endless bouldering there's been so many new experiences as well! For my first time out of the country I've been told by many that I hit the nail on the...
The last years I have been traveling a lot around Europe and I have seen really amazing places but Namibia topped them all easily. I never was in such a peaceful silence area where I even got so relaxed that I forgot about going climbing!I´m mainly traveling with my friend Arjan but a lot of strong and inspiring people are climbing together with us. After I had quite a bad time before I got here being ill and loosing some weight I´m getting back into the climbing. I feel really relaxed about everything and I enjoy a great South...
South Africa; a land of established beauty and miles of untapped potential. I’ve seen pictures, I’ve watched videos, and I’ve heard first-hand accounts of the bouldering that I’ll be exploring for the whole month of July. But everything I’ve heard will be nothing compared to the experience. It’s something I can’t even imagine right now! The farthest I’ve lived from my birthplace in New England is right here in Colorado; I’ve never been outside our country’s borders. I’ve spent the past few months preparing myself physically with my trainer Kris Peters and I feel stronger than I have in...
