We got a chance to experience some of the best Dulce De Leche Crepes and some of the worst flooding from torrential rains in Buenos Aires before we met up with the rest of the U.S. DH team for the final leg of the journey out to the Tucuman. The infamous Brent Thompson trails are still going strong with the Race Course coming down Snakeback to Kavorkian and finishing with Diva. Dante and Jackie of Team Harmony have had an interesting off-season with a lot of work and not very much bike riding through the winter but now that the duo are both riding brand new Pivot Firebirds and Phoenixes, they are very excited to see what they can accomplish this race season. Northstar dirt is notorious for being dry and having tons of poof. The whole weekend was pretty quiet, due to the overlapping of quite a few races in different areas of the States, however all the best people showed up for this race and that is all that matters. Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina hosted the National Championships for the second time, with a little change to the course and a lot of hard work into the event.
