In March I decided to give back to the sport of skydiving and give back to the skydiving center that helped me reach this level in the sport by becoming an official Load Organizer at Skydive Arizona. I used to Load Organize back in the day at Skydive AZ and it opened up many doors and opportunities in the sport like becoming a coach and achieving more than 1500 skydives per year. Well I am back at it and having more fun than ever taking people from around the world and making sure they receive a first class jumping...
Skydiving Forces You to Plunge Into Life - I haven't jumped in a while, since other sports have been consuming my time, but I realized that every time I jump, I gain a new outlook and put more effort into all the sports and activities I do (and the same goes for the people I jump with). There is something about skydiving that changes a person's perspective (maybe it was the 24 degree F air temperature). Skydiving is indeed an activity with the potential to create lasting effects on an individual's psyche! And it provides great cross-training in...
New York City!! I love it !! In my opinion the most exciting city in the world. But this was a pit stop, one night. The next day I drove to Newport, Rhode Island for the America's Cup. Awesome! New England is so rad, especially Newport. A real port town vibe and a great place to party, especially in the summer when the place is jammed packed onthe weekends, especially this beautiful weekend, for one of the biggest sailing races in the world.I jumped into the sailing race on Saturday with Clint and we threw down a really tight...
In August I got the amazing opportunity to do a GoPro andHarley-Davidson ride from Seattle to Sturgis with Chad Kagy, Aaron Chase, Eric Jackson, Ashmore Bodiford, Brian Lopes, Christian Schauf, Wes Nobles, Zach Schauf and many more. The video just dropped and I couldn't be more stoked. Check it out! #epicsturgis #hd110
After EDC Vegas I was ready to head home to Skydive Arizona. Good timing to charge up those internal batteries, do a little repacking and grab the gear I would need for the next adventure.Home. Wow! I forgot I had one. Four entire nights in my own bed. I get to skydive, catch up with friends, and most importantly, chill with my favorite Sushi Chef, Yoshi. Yoshi is the man, a total sushi Yoda hiding in the middle of the desert of Arizona. He is arguably, the best in the world. Yoshi has been making sushi most of his...
After the Wounded Wear event in Suffolk Virginia, I headed to New York City, met up with some of the good people from Crye Precision and took them skydiving at The Ranch in upstate New York. Crye Precision designs and manufactures innovative equipment for America's fighting forces, particularly Armor and Apparel. They are also big supporters of the veterans and the families of those warriors wounded or killed in combat. I felt like this was a continuation from what Sean and I just did in Virginia, and it was awesome to stoke them out on skydiving.Next stop Montreal to...
