In the Spring of 2012, JT Holmes, Jesse Hall and Timy Dutton went to Baffin Island to ski and BASE jump, as well as combine the two in a never previously performed 3 way terminal ski base jump. The team consisted of friends of Five Ten like Jimmy Chin and Josh Helling. Dirk Collins, Joshua Lavigne, Adrian Moat, Levi Palituq and Andrew Wexler all played critical roles in the pulling off the expedition and the images achieved. My first turns back on snow for the 2012-2013 ski season as well as my first turns on a rebuilt tib-fib. Seems appropriate that it starts out with a skiBASE, then some speedriding, then some actual skiing! SkiBASE is skiing off a really big cliff with a parachute- it's one of my favorite things to do, since it combines my two favorite sports, skiing and BASE jumping.
