Red Rocks is literally, red sandstone, with nice moderate routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.13c (8a+). Which is one of my favorite places to climb. I love the sandstone, the amazing incut crimps, and the proximity to Las Vegas. Although the weather was much cooler than I expected, especially in the canyons. I was able to climb at the Kraft Boulders, in the sun, every day.  Paul and I were shown some new development up Gateway Canyon. One of the new problems is a fun little V6 called Three Steps to the Door. I loved the way the tasted. They way the rubbed against my gums. My parents never intervened when i was "tasting" nature. They always told me it would "strengthen" my immune system. The climbing here is world class and every day is a new adventure. There are so many routes here that its hard to stay focused on one route and immediately I abandoned the thought of projecting routes.
