Youth rider Mille Johnset, age 12, hails from Norway. From an early age, Mille has craved speed and excitement. She started skiing before age 3 and competes in various alpine disciplines. In 2010, she tried downhill mountain biking for the first time. Her background in skiing allowed for a smooth and quick transition to the bike and in 2011, she began to dedicate training time to downhill. With a full San Diego riding tour before the Fontana Winter Series race #3, I had plenty of time to see the awesome trails around the area. Saturday practice went awesome, I got my lines dialed, tested my gear selection for The Wall and had more fun riding Fontana than should be allowed! Sunday morning started great with some solid practice and a nice warm up. My race run went great - I hit the top section clean and nailed The Wall as good as ever. With my Coast line nearing completion for the upcoming Coastal Crew movie, there is some big changes and I am stoked with what we have created. This is my first time building for a feature film and you truly need to go all out. You push your building and riding limits to create something unique.

Pulling the RV in late on a moonless night, it wasn't until morning that we took in the gargantuan masses of striated dirt and rock, compressed and shaped by eons of time, looming against the horizon. 

The familiar feeling of butterflies in our stomachs strikes us every time as we travel to new destinations. With excitement and anticipation, we forge ahead into 2012.

How do you put into words something that is indescribable? I'm sure that many of those that are blessed with the companionship of a dog understand what I am speaking of. The richness dogs bring to our lives; simply put, our dogs are an integral part of the heart and soul of our family.
