One week! That's how long was the race. One week, 4 races and 2 podiums.Starts with the dual climb on Tuesday. Basically you have to go up and down on the dual course, first to arrive at the bottom win. Mick was the only one from the team to race it cause he wanted to go for the overall. It has been a really hard race and after 8 up and down mick ended up with an impressive 2nd place. Good start of the week.

The life of a professional mountain bike racer isn't always what people think it is. My summer so far is a great example of the true lifestyle of a privater professional racer trying to make it happen for themselves. This summer I decided to get away from certain sponsorships and keep other ones and get back to the grassroots level of riding, doing it for you and only you. 5.10 and TLD thanks for all the great support. That was my quick shout-out.

This race was the second of the five round Oregon Enduro Series and the field was absolutely STACKED. Over 300 racers registered to compete in the first ever Ashland Enduro with over 65 Pro men. Windham (World Cup Downhill #5) is a short course (men’s times are 2 ½ minutes) requiring very high speeds and appears to be a severe test of accuracy.  Mikey Sylvestri and I are doing the course walk checking out the rock garden (picture).  So many parts of this track remind me of old NORBA venues.

Mt. Ste. Anne, Quebec, Canada Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Greg Minnaar races into 2nd place behind Aaron Gwin at Mt. Ste. Anne in the UCI Downhill World Cup Series.  After two weeks of constant rehab of Steve Peat’s torn hamstring he was ready to give the race a serious go, but he slid out on the upper part of the track which skewed his front end making it impossible to continue attacking and he placed 71st.  Josh Bryceland felt he was capable of a better run while his efforts netted him a 12th place position.
