I finally felt compelled to raise my fists in celebration after I crossed the finish line. I didn’t come across the line in first, so why celebrate as I did especially in this society where if your not first your last? It has been a while since I put together a run that I was truly happy with and proud to call my own. Even if I ended up in 15th place, I would have been pleased with my performance.

I made my approach late Tuesday night and was rewarded with an easy drive to Quebec City, where I made an accidental wrong turn and found myself in the heart of the city. The Four Cross European Championships took place in Szczawno in Poland at one of the world's most beautifully situated and well maintained Four Cross-Tracks. A scenario almost like a golf course!The crowds and the atmosphere on the tracksite were just amazing.  For further enjoyment in the Swiss Team, my result helped a bit. After a relatively hard fight in the final run I left the BMX Olympic participant Romana Labounkova (Czech Republic) behind me and take the bronze medal back home....                ]]></description>

Northstar dirt is notorious for being dry and having tons of poof.  The whole weekend was pretty quiet, due to the overlapping of quite a few races in different areas of the States, however all the best people showed up for this race and that is all that matters.  There was one mishap this weekend and we are all wishing a speedy recovery to Junior Alex Willie, who was airlifted to Reno after a pretty bad crash on Saturday.Coming into this race...                ]]></description>

KHS Factory Racing decided to head up north a few days early to get some training in and acclimatize to the altitude. After a few lung burnin’ xc rides we decided to hop on the DH 300’s and go check out the mountain and get some practice runs under our belt. There was one jump on parking lot and we showed what we can do on bikes. So far I have raced three downhill races this year. On my first downhill race of the season in Avče was raining all weekend. After the chaotic muddy race we had sun and dust in Croatia for the next two races in Buzet and Psunj, where the tracks were lots of fun.
