Last year we built some nice line there, but this year all jumps and berms are getting bigger, it’s going to be even nicer freeride line. When spring will come, we will make some movies there. There are endless skills available at any track if you know the right way to ride it. BMX bikes are ideal, but as mountain bikers these days we use single speed hardtails (33-16 gearing) with fast rolling tires. Just about any bike will do, even beaters, no excuse. Suspension bikes work as well, you just gotta add more air pressure to your shocks and tires. Jumping drills are probably a little better than manualling, etc. cornering drills are good too.

After multiple sessions I heading out to the DH trails of Tahoe (12-inch or less wide single tracks on very steep wet slopes, with unavoidable obstacles; obstacles consisting of log jams, snowy roots, steep drops, jumps, and berms … a mixed bag...

Feeling great and ready to roll, I hit the streets getting comfy again on my new Jackal.Sending a huge thank you to Santa Cruz Bicycles, Deity Components, Five Ten, Troy Lee Design and his family and friends for all their support.

Riding in Rampage was defiantly a big achievement for me. It was an amazing experience and I am pumped that I qualified 8th for the finals. I left feeling unsatisfied and wanting more, so I am already looking forward to next years Rampage. I spent a week in Green River after rampage building and filming for a video project with Aaron Larocque, Nic Genovese and rider Paul Genovese. It was a productive week to say the least and I am fired up to see what the video turns out like.

Gracisce is located in Istria where the weather is still warm and sunny at this time of the year. However, for the race weekend weather forecasts predicted showers, which was pretty unusual for this location. None of us have ever ridden this track in rain so we were all excited. I am also downhill racer, but now I will talk about my freeride side. It was quite good freeride season, I was able to ride some good spots, here in Slovenia. Most of photos were made for Bicikel.com magazine, but just few were published. Here you can see all photos from Špela Bokal, she is a great photographer. My season is not over yet, I still have one downhill race in Slovenia and one in Croatia. Have fun guys on your bike!

Cody Gessel showed me around for a day in Utah, and I continued up to Victoria before Camp of Champions started in Whistler. Camp was amazing, making a ton of new friends and riding the mountain everyday until we couldn't anymore. They even got a wicked...
