This year is truly underway and very soon all the races and riding trips will be upon us. I look forward to this part of the season, a race or two already attended and the rest of the season getting pieced together. As an athlete, it took a few years to learn to work out my goals and get focused. Part of this is sitting down and looking at the upcoming year. I love the fact of having over half the year's weekends mapped out before the turn of the new year (terrifying for most)....

Windham (World Cup Downhill #5) is a short course (men’s times are 2 ½ minutes) requiring very high speeds and appears to be a severe test of accuracy.  Mikey Sylvestri and I are doing the course walk checking out the rock garden (picture).  So many parts of this track remind me of old NORBA venues.
