Summer 2014 - Matt Lubar

Summer 2014 - Matt Lubar
May 15, 2014 -  Matt Lubar

Whoa. What a crazy 6 months it’s been! There’s so much to talk about I don’t even know where to start! Las Vegas, Divisional, Open and Youth Nationals, Joe’s Valley, college decisions, big plans and change have been keeping me busy since November, and I’m just now finding some time to sit down and write about it.

Euro Trip 2013 - Mirko Caballero

After ABS Nationals in March, I had to take a few weeks off to nurse my broken finger, which I talked about in my previous post. Once I got the green light from the doctor, I was eager to get back into climbing. At first I was really excited to see how fast I was recovering my strength and endurance, but after a while I realized that getting back to 80% was really easy, but the last 20% proved to be really, really hard, and took much, much longer than I had hoped for... Silvretta Session - Alessandro Penna

Silvretta Session - Alessandro Penna
September 02, 2013 -  Alessandro Penna

After having spent our first week of vacation in Spain, I moved to Switzerland and Austria with Claudia. We've spent some days in the area of Fionnay, looking for blocs, and trying some. But, as the weather forecasts were nice in Magic Wood, we decided to go there some days. The conditions were excellent and I managed to send One Summer in Paradise/ Pura Vida. But after three days in Magic, we decided to see a nex spot (for us) and to drive the two hours which lead us to Galtur, Silvretta. The spot was really nice, and the...

A Week in Valais - Niccolò Ceria
October 12, 2012 -  Niccolò Ceria

Hi everybody, This blog spot will be mainly dedicated to describe my week in Valais, an amazing area where many gems deserve to be visited. Before the principal topic I would like to write something about one weekend in Magic Wood and Murgtal, a new area for me. Magic Wood has been almost absent from my summer list for some causes, but basically because I wanted to avoid it since it is completely crowed by climbers in July and august and I would have difficulty to find a quiet place where to climb and where to put my tent....

My Epic Summer in Europe - Mirko Caballero

My Epic Summer in Europe - Mirko Caballero

It’s been a while since my last post, but I have some excuses: it’s been a hectic time since my trip to the Red River Gorge, and training to prepare for US Youth Nationals in Speed & Sport Climbing. I did go outside a few more times to Smith Rock, Pinnacles, Donner Pass, Jailhouse and Big Chief, and sent a few more 5.13’s along the way. But back to my Summer climbing... I wrote this post over the 10 weeks I was traveling, but only now got the time to put it all together and post it....
