After a winter trip to Thailand, I returned to Squamish for the remainder of winter. I arrived back just in time for the January dry spell that seems to always occur here each year. It’s a shame that most people experience Squamish in the hot, slightly humid days of summer. It really is the only predictable time to visit, but they miss out on the small windows of stickiness that occur when temperatures hover around freezing during the winter. This is my first post since joining the Five Ten Team, so here's a run down of what I've been up to this fall and winter. September I headed back up to Squamish for the start of the school year. September and October continued a stretch of amazing weather in the Pacific Northwest, which allowed for a ton of climbing in Squamish. I got on the amazing Eurasian Eyes, a 5.13 knife edge arete climb about a third of the way up the face of the 2000 foot tall chief.

Here are some of my favorite photos from my time in Bishop this winter. I initially travelled down with my friends Bret Johnston and Kevin Carhart to stay in Bishop for about two weeks and then I returned after about a month in Hueco to stay for another couple weeks with Jesse Warren and Chris Sinatra, as well as some other friends already in Bishop (Yea Jon Thompson, Joel Zerr, and Colin Barnes!!!).
