One very early, very chilly desert morning- actually, this was the second consecutive morning we tried this, so a 3:30 AM wake up call x2- some friends and I found ourselves in the middle of the flat, dusty, desert watching the moon and the stars disappear and the sun gradually start to shed it's light over the golden landscape. A little windy considering most balloons won't leave the ground if there is the slightest breath of wind- but our balloon pilot is a cowboy and was determined to get us off the ground. Hence the scary part. But soon...

The summer months in Utah are in full swing, and there is one common factor that make each day beyond exciting, PARACHUTES. Yes, the west has been in a serious drought, with minimal rain gracing the skies...but it is allowing us to take the skies over with our skydiving and BASE jumping antics. Within the past few weeks, the days have been jam-packed full of excitement; from 3am wake-up calls to jump out of hot-air balloons while camera crews circle in helicopters, to BASE jumps off one of our many local Utah objects, to wingsuit skydives with friends.Five...
