What appeared to be a seemingly cold morning turned into an amazing day of climbing with almost perfect temps. I went with my brother, Sam and my dad, to the popular and always crowded carriage road, packed with runners, boulderers, and trad climbers. we started off on some easy warmups then went to newpair and karajo. Last weekend my compadres and I found that all the populous of the east coast seemed to only have autumn foliage on their mind.  Such was reflected at the Shawangunks, just outside of New Paltz, wheretraffic was dense, travel slow, and sleeping quarters were scarce amongst the throngs of hikers, tourists, cyclists, and decidedly fewer climbers.
