With a full San Diego riding tour before the Fontana Winter Series race #3, I had plenty of time to see the awesome trails around the area. Saturday practice went awesome, I got my lines dialed, tested my gear selection for The Wall and had more fun riding Fontana than should be allowed! Sunday morning started great with some solid practice and a nice warm up. My race run went great - I hit the top section clean and nailed The Wall as good as ever. In the end, I pulled off a 5th place....

I finally made it back to Fontana California for the 2012 Fontana City Nationals. It has been probably 6 years since I have raced at Fontana and it seems to be the same as it always was. The track we raced on was almost the same as I remembered with some areas of the downhill a little smoothed out. The infamous wall was still long and grueling and took all my will power to pedal to the end. The venue was filled with so much factory support and race teams, such as: Marzocchi, Five Ten, Unique Sports, KHS, ODI...

Ahh, So-cal.Don Jackson once again brought downhill mountain biking to the masses and local southern California racers. The Fontana National was held at South Ridge Raceway in Fontana, California. This was the last race of the fall, it was the closing event for the South Ridge crew and local racers alike for the 2011 summer season. The DH track was challenging for every abllitly of rider.
