I have been training hard for nationals and am excited to be going off to Colorado in a few days. I have been training for about 12 hours a week. My weekly training is broken up into 3 hour sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and then either Saturday or Sunday. I am trying to do more boulder problems that my coaches make up so that they have a weird move or are more of a comp style boulder problem. Last week my Zero Gravity teammates and I had the opportunity to go to DogPatch Boulders for a team-only open house. DogPatch is located in San Francisco in the Dog Patch neighborhood. It is a brand new bouldering gym that is not yet open to the public. When I first got there, my breath was taken away.
