After spending a month or so at home in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe I am back in sunny southern California hanging out and testing product with guys in the creative department. At lunch today Jesus, the “Norwegian”, and I went out to ride a trail called Jedi in Redlands, California. Because of the Sunday’s rain, the race was muddy. During qualification runs it was so foggy you almost couldn’t see the track in the forest. The visibility was better in the finals, but my run wasn’t good. I crashed at the top of the course. I hope next year the weather will be better, because in this season only 2 of the 7 races weren’t wet and muddy. At the end of summer we built a mini pump track at my friend’s house. The course was sweet, flowing well with a techy whale tail before the last jump. We got some awesome weather, with the wind and rain holding off for finals.
