The fourth victory of Polish athlete on the dam in Daone. Supported by Five Ten Edyta Ropek is the first in the world who made this. During her 9 years starts in the valley, she won 4 gold, and 2 bronze medals! No one else has achieved so much. Speed World Cup in Daone is one of the hardest from the IFSC speed competition calendar.

Spring usually signifies life, rebirth, flowers, etcetera. For me - it was death. Spring semester 2012 was complete mayhem. School is alright if you stay on top of things, but as soon as those things start to slip, it creates a landslide of work you are constantly battling to try and get to the top of. I'm normally on top of the hill, but after March madness, I was left scrambling to get back up all semester long.

My competition season started six weeks ago in Edinburgh, Scotland. The first competition of the European Youth Cup-circuit started there, and that was also my international comeback after my injury last fall. After that I’ve been to Russia, Switzerland, France and in the northern Norway where the sun never hides. The last six weeks has been filled with training, travelling, competitions and school. But school is finally finished, and now I can focus on the things I love the most; training and competitions.

When one thinks of Vail they might think of skiing and fur coat shops, when I think of Vail I think of rad competitive climbing and expensive pasta. Last year the wall was at a prime location near the center of the village and at the foot of the mountain, (Mt. unknown) and this year it was near the end of the village next to a soccer field….not ideal for spectating but it all worked out perfect in the end. Good job to all the setters, USA Climbing and comp coordinators...

Training camp in Daone is really hard. Not because of hard training on the dam, but because of the variable weather. I’m in the middle of my stay in the valley, most of the time was raining. To the extent that it was snowing on Tuesday.

So I started my preparation to the summer world cups. Few days ago me and my boyfriend, we arrived in Vale di Daone, 1700 amsl somewhere in the Italian Alps. Weather is not so nice, raining most of the time, so it’s hard to find two hours to do training.

In Prague took place the third competition of the Czech national Cup. I won again and that means I won the overall Cup, even before all competitions took place.

On Friday I had the most important exam at school I've ever had.. And on Saturday I competed in very important competition - this should determine the national team. Luckilly I passed the exam very successfully. That also lightened my mind and allowed me to focus only on saturday's competing.

Hello! So, the SCS regionals at Triangle Rock Club in North Carolina was an amazing competition with some great routes, but the really impressive thing was the setting behind the scenes. Me and a few others fore ran routes ranging from 5.10 to 5.12 to give the setters feedback and see if the routes need tweaking.
