December 06, 2011 -  EscaladaINT

"We live in Brazil and we've been climbing for ten years. We run the EscaladaINT website, in which we present the latest news in the brazilian climbing scene. Our goal is to spread climbing and motivate more and more the practice of this sport in our country. To do so, we search and produce quality material to be published in our website (videos, photos, online magazines, event releases, new climbing crags, among others). Now, with the partnership with Five Ten, we plan on posting weekly updates about the brazilian crags, disclosing our country's climbing scene to the world. We hope you'll...

First 8b "after Tommy" :-) - Martina Cufar

I've finished my last blog with the words that I had to find new projects. And I did find it and climbed it!After one more 8a/a+ in Bionnassay, La loi de Murphy et two 7c on sight/flash, La double colonne and Carpe diem in Suet, it was time to check something harder. First I’ve tried Tweety 8b in Bionnassay. Oulala, it’s certainly the hardest 8b I’ve ever tried!!! Well, I was more or less able to do the moves, but FAAAR from linking them. I was bouldering with the ropeJ Sometimes the “distance” between 8a+ and 8b is huge!...

Namaste 5.10, When this bloooog is reaching you, one of your boys is in India and try whatever it takes to push his climbing limits. although not so easy: the sun, the surrounding and many many other things are killing me and my buddies Ivan and Olli (both have mad skills...).

Cool temps, sunny skies, quieter crowds, and screeching Bald Eagles. This time of the year reminds me why I love to climb at Smith Rocks. Holds that felt impossible to hang on to a month ago, feel tacky and usable. I have spent the last few weeks putting my energy into Chemical Ali (14a). Chemical is a different type of route than Smith’s other 14a’s due to its powerful moves on fairly good holds. It requires more power than technical savvy, although there are still a few moves that still require a great deal of balance and technique. The...

Hey whats up Five Ten world? So I got my first shipment of Five Ten shoes in the mail last week on holy man I have missed these bad boys. My toes are sticking to whatever I want them to, heals lock in hard and not to mention the Atlas Pamplona are kick ass. Is that memory foam in the shoe? My feet are stained red from the Moccasym to the point of almost being as red as the Pomplona. Next week I am going to break out the Team shoes and see what all the raving ranting...
