Definitely one of my favorites smells in the world, yesterday my new climbing shoes came in just in time for my Spring Break trip. With a new pair of my beloved Dragons as well as some new Team's which I am very excited to get climbing in tomorrow I am more excited then ever to be leaving today for Joes Valley. Both photos are Leavenworth projects. Just after the first photo was taken I tore pulley in my finger. I had to take four months off of climbing. The second photo is from a project that a few of my friends have showed me.  I am back and healthy can’t wait to finish up the projects when the snow melts.

The perfect steep overhang the line is on is right next to the shoreline of the Pacific, which makes just being down there worthwhile. I warmed up on the easier moves of an 8a to the left of Surf Safari called Endless Bummer, which I later sent after I was warmed up. The next thing to do obviously was to get on Surf Safari. This year, I traveled out to Colorado Springs to compete in both the youth and open divisions, securing a semifinal bid in the adult category and my 5th National Bouldering Championship title in my last youth bouldering competition ever.This two week Colorado experience has definitely been one of the best times of my life, and I am extremely grateful to be able to live out this lifestyle, balancing my studying with traveling and competing with some of my best friends. The year is going by so quickly, with Youth Nationals coming to a close this past weekend and Spring Break only 18 days away the semester is moving along quickly. This past few weeks have been crazy with school, along with climbing. Just a month ago I was trying to figure out whether or not I would be able to compete in Open National Championships two weeks ago as well as how much time I would have to be able to volunteer for youth nationals.
