It has been another hard winter here in Scotland. The long dark nights, the rain and the work commitments have once again meant that rock activity has been limited. Same old story huh?! ABS in Colorado springs this year was a great comp. I competed in the open competition along with 75 other competitors. On the day of qualifiers there were 5 climbs, I ended up completing 3 out of the five which put me into 19th place and a spot in semi finals. The first climb in semis was a tricky slab, I got to the last holds but I kept slipping up. The second climb was a stemming climb in a corner with big features and all you had to do was start turned around! But I never figured...

Last weekend I competed in my first ABS national competition. This was the first national bouldering competition I had attended. Going into this competition, I knew that it would be a great experience. I also learned about what I need to improve for next year. The qualifying round as well as semi-finals went fairly well. Yeah ! long time without say nothing to this amazing community, i am working hard to find some job and keep my body trying hard around Innsbruck.
