haveronglad u had a great trip!
We started our trip to the red by driving 20 hours through the night with four drivers and made it to Miguel’s pizza by noon. Immediately after arriving we got directions to the drive-by crag and headed there to finally climb on the world class sandstone. With three hours of sleep and no food the whole day we started on the classic warm-up Breakfast Burrito 10d. Then moved onto Primus Noctum 12a, Whipper Snapper 12b, and Kaleidoscope 13c. The red is a very unique area, because its a safe crag were you can have a lot of fun....
I'm in the Red River Gorge, the climbing is off the hook, but the weather is MUY MAL! - David Graham
What it's like when it rains, why its awesome when there is sun, and why I try to make electronic music these days. I have been in the Red River Gorge for nearly 15 days now, and although I am brimming with syke every time its sunny outside and we get to go rock climbing, I start royally freaking out when the rain and snow roll in and shut down the whole entire climbing operation. I have climbed for two four-day blocks so far, in...
Months are passing fast!!! I spent the whole October in Slovenia, visiting family, climbing, skydiving, making long promenades with Tommy...And now we are back in France!During his promenades Tommy is no longer watching Triglav. Now he’s observing Mont Blanc, Les Drus,L’aiguille du Midi (well, he sleeps most of the time J). I am really lucky to live in such nice places! Every day I say to myself, “waw, those mountains are really amazing!”
So far this fall was amazing for me.... After a great month climbing in the Silvretta mountains i could do one of Austria's hardest and most known test piece Anam Cara. I already thought that should be the highlight of this season but i was completely wrong. In the next month I repeated some of the more unknown hard boulders in Swiss
This past summer I was fortunate enough to take a two month trip of a lifetime to Europe with Alex Johnson, Josh Levin, and Nick Milburn. We boarded a plane in Atlanta the day after U.S. Nationals (which went very well) and flew across the Atlantic Ocean, landed in Munich, and began our European climbing trip.
Over Thanksgiving break a crew and I went to Joe’s Valley Utah for five days of bouldering. The crew consisted of Paul “P.Diddy” Dusatko, Andrea “I’m not barfy” Trujillo, Zach “Centerfold” Lerner, Gentle Ben and me. The forecast looked perfect; dry and cool. After a grueling week of setting for an ABS Local competition and a couple weeks of trying and falling off projects I was tired and in need of a vacation. I went without a clear goal in mind; I was just psyched to climb on beautiful sandstone boulders.
