Targasonne, Started the Season - Ferran Guerrero Hervas

Targasonne, Started the Season - Ferran Guerrero Hervas
September 08, 2012 -

As always begins the dilemma, where we go, here not that many people, I have them there the very sobados blocks, etc, etc, well, Targasonne, always being left projector to do that this year I am motivated with the area, and Laia truth has much to do and to scale with the perfect girl, I have to search for projects in the short / long term, not to repeat the same old thing, so start an autumn / winter will be driven by those lands that we both want.It was an express visit since announcing rainy afternoon, so we...

Singapore WYCH 2012 - Loic Timmermans

Singapore WYCH 2012 - Loic Timmermans
September 08, 2012 -  Loic Timmermans

I'm back from Singapore for a few days now and can have an 'objective' overview of the comp. It was an amazing event which I'll remember for a long time even if my semi-final was too bouldery and hard and where I unfortunately couldn't express what I really trained for. I ended at a disappointing 13th place. For a first Asian trip, I have to say : I love Asia ! The dim sum, animals, jungle, landscape,... except the humidity which was a limiting factor. In brief, I'm a bit frustrated about the comp but it...

Welcome to Singapore - Nicholas Milburn

Welcome to Singapore - Nicholas Milburn
September 08, 2012 -

Have you ever climbed on beautiful beaches, palm trees peppering the shore, cool water to swim in whenever you desire. Just this past week I was in Singapore to compete in the Youth World Championships and it was held on Siloso Beach! It was an awesome comp minus some minor interferences of rain and what not. This was my second world championship, so I had a better idea of what to expect this time, although Scotland and Singapore where two completely different competitions. Scotland was very structured where as Singapore was one of the most laid back comps I...

Training! - Mayan Smith-Gobat

Training! - Mayan Smith-Gobat
September 07, 2012 -

I have been climbing full-time for over 10 years now, in which time I have done very little actual “training”… I have sworn by the method of training through climbing – By choosing projects which work my weaknesses I have continually become a stronger and better climber. However, for a long time now, I have known that to really make significant gains in sport climbing I need to gain power! Unfortunately, this is the hardest thing to gain from climbing outdoors, yet I have lacked the discipline or desire to dedicate a block of time to pure training. Even...

Arco Rock Legend Award for 2012! - Sasha DiGiulian
September 07, 2012 -

My mom just reminded me to think about the postive, not the negative, so I am going to begin this blog right. This weekend I flew to Italy to attend the prestigious Arco Rock Legend Award Ceremony, for which I was nominated to win alongside the incredibly talented and noteworthy Adam Ondra, Daniel Woods, Dave Graham, and Iker Pou. I am honored just to be considered on the same platform as these figures in the sport.Well, I am even more honored and so incredibly appreciative to the international jury to have elected me as the “2012 Rock Legend” for worldwide...

Annot Summer Trip 2012 - Ferran Guerrero Hervas
September 06, 2012 -  Ferran Guerrero Hervas

After a long time of hearing about this area located in the Haute Provenze and playing of Les Gorges du Verdon, we wanted to visit, we had explained everything, "nothing to envy Bleau, great, less people, etc, etc" so as the summer holidays were shorter than normal for the birth of our daughter, we wanted to maximize the days we would spend outside, and we were advised that it was a good place to go with children, and had every reason , allowing you to combine scale and family life both in boulder areas like...
