It's official. I am no longer a resident of the US of A. In the first week of June I packed some things in storage, moved out of Boulder, drove my car to California (to be sold), and jumped on a plane Cape Town, South Africa. A new chapter of my life has begun and the theme is travel and climbing...on a global scale. Along for the ride is my wonderful girlfriend Mary Mecklenburg and we will be shooting lots photos and videos along the way so keep an eye out!

So much quality climbing and development has been accomplished and the bulk of it centers around Bear Lake Road in RMNP. Since returning from France at the end of March, it's been nonstop "on the circuit" with one of the best and most talented crews of climbers I've ever had the opportunity to climb with. Dave Graham, Paul Robinson, and Daniel Woods continue to prove time and again why they are top notch climbers, athletes, and people. In between lots of filming I...

The gear is fairly good, however it is a bit spaced out. 4 pieces protect about 50 feet of climbing, and that last piece is not so trustworthy in my opinion. Sketch factor aside, the climbing is amazing. A 20 foot slab kicks back into a...

This coming weekend I will be traveling to Dallas, Texas to teach a PCI Pro Clinic at Dallas Rocks. Having helped sculpt the curriculum over the last few months, I'm very excited to put my 10 years of climbing knowledge to work. I will be teaching the clinic with my two good friends/professional climbers Paul Robinson and fellow Five Ten Athlete Alex Johnson. Should be a great weekend! If you are going to be in the area, there are a few slots left, so sign up at www.proclimbers.com.
