About a week ago, we had the first Alberta Climbing Association (ACA) comp of the year and it was hosted by my home gym, Calgary Climbing Centre. These comps are always a blast and are very well organized. After a rough comp, you can do one of two things. You can figure out what you did wrong and see how you can improve it. Or, you can be a grouch about it. Typically, I’m pretty good at learning from a poor comp and making sure I’m not grouchy about it. I can’t say that was the case though for the Boulder World Cup in Vail...
