1500 miles, 1- 15 passenger van and trailer, 2 climbing teams, 4 coaches, 9 climbers, 11 crash pads, 28 pairs of climbing shoes, 30 twinkies and a Five Ten shoebox full of candy.  Of course this was going to be a sweet spring break!

Following Hueco, Bryan Boyko and I made our way out to Bishop to take advantage of the awesome Spring conditions in the Buttermilks.  My goal for the trip was to climb The Swarm as well as the Mandala Sit, both clocking in at V14.  While neither ended up going down, I had an excellent time ticking off a grip of other Buttermilks classics.

This is my first blog as a new Five Ten Youth Team member. I'm so psyched to be part of the team. I was hoping to get a sponsorship, but Five Ten has always been my favorite climbing shoes company, so that makes it really exciting! I just got my first pair of Team 5.10 shoes mailed to me just in time for US Nationals...
