Five Ten’s Andy Lewis has a lot of credits to his name: four-time world slack line champion; father of modern-day trickline; world record holder for first and second longest free solo walks (180 feet and 132 feet). How does he top those feats? By helping Madonna with her half-time performance at the Super Bowl. Here’s what Andy had to say about training.

Today, after lots of planning, our big plan finally came together! The goal was to have Andy and Laurent jump off of a cliff 1,500 ft above the Fisher Towers, and as they flew over the Towers, my friend Sean and I would jump off the Summit of Ancient Art at the same time. As you can imagine, we needed to have excellent communication along with cooperation from the weather gods.
