Another lifetime goal completed! Generator crack (10c) in Yosemite second try!! Generator is on a giant boulder at the Generator Station in Yosemite Valley. It gradually widens from about 8" to a tight chimney at the top with the crux near the bottom. Here is the Supertopo* description:
"So I just got home from an amazing spring break trip to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky! Taylor Nystrom and I made the 13 hour drive from my hometown in Wisconsin and we spent the week climbing some of the most beautiful sport routes with Sasha and Magnus. The weather couldn't have been better! We only had one cold, rainy day which we used as a fun rest day in Lexington. This trip to the Red was so much fun! I'm sort of psyched on routes now... And definitely psyched on road trips! ...
JT Holmes, a member of Five Ten®’s Elite athlete team , recently attempted a ski down the Bec Des Roses, a 2700-foot face near Mt. Blanc. The first photo shows the face and the second, the tracks of his 800-foot fall.
"Made it down to Vegas for the Red Rock Rendezvous, and then afterward made it up to Desert Gold, one of the most difficult and beautiful cracks in Red Rocks. I was super psyched on my second day to send first try, but not without getting pumped out of my gourd dangling out the fifteen foot roof crack that caps the hard overhanging fingers. This is certainly a mega classic, and I encourage anyone who is into hard cracks to give it a whirl!!!" Check out the video here

Brenden Gebhart sends us these awesome action shots of the new Five Ten® Line King and has this to say about the new slacklining shoes "I'm really loving the padding on them and am excited about the fact that you can feel the slackline through the rubber."
