California has been having one of the best years for water in decades, and me not being able to stray too far from Shasta, these are just a couple of our local gems. Hopefully be getting some more water this summer but gotta start saving some cash for college and a new computer for Slippery When Wet.
Different hard problems that I have done.
The weather hasn't much improved in Vermont. I've been climbing indoors easily twice as often as outside. On dry days I've been running up to Smugglers' Notch, often climbing until 8 or 9, or later. My friends GP and Kiel recently added a new line called Touching This Guy or Touching The Sky, something like that. Its awesome and I'm really excited to workout some tall-man beta on it. Jenny and I also recently brought our friends Aaron and Thalia (and Tallula!) to my little home crag growing up in Jamaica VT. There are some really hard lines there...
Ethan Pringle completes the 3rd ascent of Wheel Of Life, Hollow Mountain Cave in the Grampians, Australia. "Given V16 after the FA, Pringle registered it as a 5.14d route climb which makes sense since the problem is a massively long 60+ move linkup of several problems in the V9-V12 range."
