I moved to Salt Lake 8 years ago because I felt then, and still believe, it is the best place to live if you want to climb all the time. I know there are plenty of people who argue with that, but it has worked for me.

While here I have traveled to Turkey, Europe, all over the U.S.A. and of course climbed in countless areas in Utah. Yet, somehow in the last 8 years I have managed to never climb in Logan Canyon except for the last two weekends.

Starting the series with a win in Maribor and coming into Fort William wearing the leaders jersey was a great position for Greg to spring from. As a first time competitor in the world cup scene I was really psyched to even be in the first round!! Only grabbing two bonus holds was not enough to get in the top 20. Each problem was hard and had a tricky moves. I was one of the last people to go so I did not get to see many people send, but I did not see anyone send number 3 or 5.

My separated shoulder is healing nicely and I've been out riding and having a ball in the nice wet spring weather. I'm actually cutting out of work early today to play in the wet DG (decomposing granite) from last night and today's rain. It's a Tahoe bikers powder day!!!

Well on the whole we had a fantastic weekend at Fort William. The race, weather and whole event was amazing. As you can see we took top honours for the weekend winning the best team award. It was great having the while team up on the podium in front of the cheering race fans.

How do you narrow it down!?! They all have their uses right? The Blancos might come in handy on the Taipan wall, while the Projects could work really well on the Wheel of Life... Sorry for the delay. Most people ask, “why was your trip to Japan only three days Ethan?!?” The reason the trip was only three days and not longer was because I had finals the day after I got back. Bummer, I know. And I’ve been mega busy since then, getting ready for my six-week trip to Australia that’s coming up in just a few days!!! It’s a hard life, I know. Someone’s gotta do it. Better that it’s me jumping on...

After more than 50 days in Tibet, Jordan Romero has returned home from his record breaking Summit of Mt. Everest.

"It was a very, very hard mountain and it took a lot of dedication and so much hard work just preparing for it, especially during the climb, but we trained and prepared so hard. We took our time and effort into it and that's really what it takes. Its really not an easy mountain."

The Golden Spire Highline sits just outside Golden, CO; about a 20 minute drive from my location in Boulder. There are now two lines bolted in this area and a third to soon be bolted. The lines offer a beginner a great environment to explore and learn how to highline safely.

I'm leaving tomorrow for the USA! Plan is staying a couple of days in Boulder,CO chilling and training a bit then drive to Vail,CO fot the 3rd stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2010...

I don't have any expectations due to my poor form and low syke on plastic this year but we will see what happens!! I'm sure it will be a great event like every year and it's cool to see some friends I haven't seen in a while!

Ahh Boulder! It's been so long since I've stepped into the bubble, nearly 3 years to be precise. After hearing word of the most groundbreaking competition circuits to date, I received the official invite and decided to put off my rock fondling habits for a quick weekend to check out the hype.
