Five Ten's Ronnie Jenkins reports from the event: "This years HP40 comp was perfect. The weather was cold for sending and the comp had the most competitors ever at HP40. The event kicked off Friday night with pre-registration at the Five Ten booth. The line was moving slowly because of people checking out the new shoes. Everyone was so excited to try out the new shoes in the morning.

The last 10 days have included 4 days of rain, 3 days of climbing, and now another 3 days of rain. Tomorrow is looking bleak. It’s beginning to drive me crazy. The reality of the situation is starting to become evident, and despite the fact that we have plenty of time to climb ahead of us, this weather has been forcing a number of realizations into my already overwhelmed brain. A quick, fun recap of the first of three Dark Horse competitions held at Metrorock North in Newburyport, Mass. On Saturday the 6th of November (or Movember as I like to call it), Metrorock North held the first chapter of the Dark Horse Series of bouldering competitions, of which Five Ten is a presenting sponsor (Werd!). I woke up at 9:30, early by my standards, pounded a banana and coffee and drove 45 minutes North to Newburyport, MA.
The 2010 Gibbon World Cup Took place this last weekend during the IMS Boulder Festival where Five Ten athletes Momo Weiss, Andy Lewis and Bernd Hassmann took the podium.
