My first visit to this unbelievable multipitch tour was in April as my partner Cédric Lachat and I drove spontaneously to Sardegna, Italy, to climb this famous route. Hotel Supramonte has been the most difficult route in Italy for a long time. Not only the high rated difficult grade (7b+, 7c, 8b, 8a+, 8a+/8b, 7c, 7a, 7b+, 7b+, 7b+, 6b) makes this route an absolute testpeace, but also the ongoing hard pitches.

I'm just back home from a short week in the United States.

After a long travel we arrived in Boulder, Colorado where we settled for a couple of days. We spent these two days just chilling in the hotel, walking in the downtown and climbing a bit at The Spot! And we went a couple of hours in Boulder Canyon visiting the famous The Game and another 8b+ called Midnight Express! Very nice hard problems on very good rock!

A couple of weeks ago I climbed this boulder problem called From Shallow Waters to Riverbed 8b+ in Magic Wood! This bloc was opened by Franz Widmer a few year ago and it's basically the sit down start extension at 7c+ bloc into the famous 8b The Riverbed! It's about 30moves long so it might be considered a route or a traverse or whatever... anyway it remains a nice and hard climb!...

Sticky Stealth® rubber has proven useful in many sports... and Kerry Self uses Five Ten® shoes to help her with powerlifting.

She recently set a new 100% Raw Powerlifting National Record in the bench press with the help of the Guide Tennies. When you're putting every bit of power into one lift, it's important you don't lose grip on the thing holding you to the ground!

"What a track... rode this last year, but the track has had a lot of work since then by track builder Ben Walker and his team. It's still a really scary track to ride - but I love it!

I moved to Salt Lake 8 years ago because I felt then, and still believe, it is the best place to live if you want to climb all the time. I know there are plenty of people who argue with that, but it has worked for me.

While here I have traveled to Turkey, Europe, all over the U.S.A. and of course climbed in countless areas in Utah. Yet, somehow in the last 8 years I have managed to never climb in Logan Canyon except for the last two weekends.

As a first time competitor in the world cup scene I was really psyched to even be in the first round!! Only grabbing two bonus holds was not enough to get in the top 20. Each problem was hard and had a tricky moves. I was one of the last people to go so I did not get to see many people send, but I did not see anyone send number 3 or 5.

My separated shoulder is healing nicely and I've been out riding and having a ball in the nice wet spring weather. I'm actually cutting out of work early today to play in the wet DG (decomposing granite) from last night and today's rain. It's a Tahoe bikers powder day!!!

Well on the whole we had a fantastic weekend at Fort William. The race, weather and whole event was amazing. As you can see we took top honours for the weekend winning the best team award. It was great having the while team up on the podium in front of the cheering race fans.

Easy to lose! Ya know when you're packing for an extended trip and you have a handful of shoes that you want to bring, but bringing more than three shoes makes you feel like a total lame-o (plus you don't have the room in your bag anyway)? How do you narrow it down!?! They all have their uses right? The Blancos might come in handy on the Taipan wall, while the Projects could work really well on the Wheel of Life... I'm suspecting that I'll need the Jets for almost all the overhung bouldering I'll be...

Sorry for the delay. Most people ask, “why was your trip to Japan only three days Ethan?!?” The reason the trip was only three days and not longer was because I had finals the day after I got back. Bummer, I know. And I’ve been mega busy since then, getting ready for my six-week trip to Australia that’s coming up in just a few days!!! It’s a hard life, I know. Someone’s gotta do it. Better that it’s me jumping on...

I originally got tipped off on this rig a few years ago when my friend Zack Smith told me about it. Apparently, he did all the moves but couldn't link it. I tried it a couple years ago... without any luck. Now, it seems feasible. Runout and hard. It's a wild line up an otherwise totally blank section of rock.
