All of a sudden it’s mid November and I’ve no idea where the time has gone. It only feels like yesterday when I was finishing my racing season out in warm sunny Whistler! Now I’m well settled into a cold, predominantly wet, Northern English winter here in the UK. My masters’ degree which I started in September is going well. It means I have to finish the whole of my final year of study (which under normal circumstances would take until June) by February. I then move to Newcastle to start my first job.

Snow has finally arrived in the Valley... The season is truly over and my plane leaves for NZ in about an hour. I am sad to leave this beautiful corner of the world which has taught me so much over the last couple of months and become another 'home' to me, but at least the last few weeks have been stunning weather. Cool clear days and crisp nights with no people in the valley - it has been quite a treat to experience Yosemite without the usual crowds.
I haven’t posted on here in a while, so I’m posting an update, recently I’ve been trying to get back to training after lots of outdoor climbing over the summer. At the end of the summer I took a trip to Spearfish, South Dakota for about a week and a half. We spent a lot of time in Victoria canyon at the beginning.
