Last Saturday, I stayed on a nice Psicobloc comp!!!

Last Saturday, in Kanpezu, there was a concentration-competition of Psicobloc. The event was on a climbing wall-bridge over a river! Very motivating!

Well, I'm just hours away from my trip out west. Jenny's asleep on the couch and I'm, well procrastinating. We just tracked down our camera battery charger and I now feel we have most (likely not all) of the necessities. When embarking on a trip such as we it is safe to leave when you feel as though you have most of the essential goods (climbing shoes, lucky underwear, a far too small cooler and of course your camera battery charger).

Sunday evening bought an end to what many say was the best Squamish Mountain Festival on record. Perfect weather and great attendance made this year’s annual five-day celebration of climbing culture a huge success. The 2010 Festival, running from July 14th - 18th, included three nights of climbing films and speakers, climbing clinics with guides and pros, the “Steep Shot Photo Contest”, a trade fair including demo gear, a “West is Best” cowboy-themed party and several other fun free events.

I have been buying Five Ten® shoes since I started parkour 2 years ago and haven't looked back! Just wondering who else is using them for their training.

But 140 moves long! That’s pretty long! But never more than about a meter off the ground, with a perfect landing for the majority of the way, flat and grassy. It’s the ultimate boulder traverse, if you like your routes, with the crux coming after about 100 moves and each attempt taking over 25 minutes!

The UK Downhill National Championships were held at Ae Forest, Scotland this year and it turned out to be a wet and very muddy weekend!

Steve Peat and Jess Stone took the National Titles.

This year's Beg, Borrow, Steele event was a huge success. Despite threatening weather, over 130 people showed up to support the event. Matt Ginley and I got loads of demos out on people's feet to enjoy the 75 sport routes at the house. As the heat and humidity took its toll around 6pm, the kegs of local microbrew were tapped and bbq was served to fuel the ensuing pad wrestling match and dance party.
