Early this week, Five Ten athletes Sonnie Trotter, Carlo Traversi, JT Holmes, Greg Minnar and I all flew to New York to shoot interviews with Bear Grylls of Man Vs. Wild. The shoot was for an upcoming web series by the Discovery Channel called The Adrenaline Lab. We were all brought in to talk with Bear about adrenaline and how it affects our respective activities. After a trip to Red Rocks for the 8th annual Red Rock Rendezvous Sonnie Trotter returned home to find himself on a movie set. Although he can't release the name or any details of the movie at this time, he will say that he's enjoying the new and rather overwhelming experience. The latest issue of Climbing Magazine (May) featured the 2011 Gear Guide. They research and test numerous climbing products, and only 9 get chosen as "the most innovative and exciting new products of the year." This year for rock climbing shoes the 2011 Five Ten Arrowhead got the honor. "We climbed extensively in more than a dozen new shoes for this issue's review, and the Arrowhead hit the bull's eye."
