North America Ice Climbing Championships - Andres Marin
December 18, 2013 -

Sunshine and great temps were the highlight for mixed climbing in Hyalite canyon. The Bozeman Ice festival was a total blast.  All the clinics, the setting, and the friends make it a one of a kind festival. It was the first Ice Climbing World championship held in the U.S.

Even extremely busy I feel guilty for not checking in for a bit...While these blogs and connecting with our community are always great, life on the road and climbing often occupy all of our time. Stories are always worth telling, I just need to make it more a priority. Regardless, here I am, back in Colorado for some time before the next circuit of climbing begins. I started in Colorado some months ago when I traveled to Portland for the annual PBR. I didn't know what to expect at first, especially since I was nursing a moderately wounded shoulder...

Thanksgiving Break at the Red!!! - Delaney Miller

Thanksgiving Break at the Red!!! - Delaney Miller
December 06, 2013 -

Like virtually all college freshmen that move away from home, I found myself a little homesick this past semester. But when Thanksgiving break came around, there was no way I was going to pass up an opportunity to climb! To my parents’ great disappointment (although they still supported my decision), I chose to forgo the typical trip home and instead headed east for the Red River Gorge. I went with the amazingly strong and humble climber Margo Hayes and her likewise awesome dad. We flew to Cincinnati Friday night and drove to climb early Saturday morning. We spent the...

Hi everybody, Five weeks have gone from the end of my trip in Prilep and the training period has started again. After Macedonia my physical shape dropped down and I wasn't able to keep me hang. After the return, I decided to stay off the training since I felt tired and I felt to have given a lot of energies to brush and to climb in Prilep. I opted to climb outdoor in few occasions and to relax me as much as I can before restarting to the use fingerboards and so on. I went twice to Gaby, the...

December 04, 2013 -

I have been in Europe now for over three months and wow, have I seen a lot, done a lot, and learned a lot! I am going to try and focus this blog post more on the places I have been, the journey, and the many important thing that I have learned along the way, instead of purely on hard out climbing. But we shall see how it goes. Hopefully you guys will learn something too.

Double Crown at HP40 - Francesca Metcalf

Double Crown at HP40 - Francesca Metcalf
December 04, 2013 -

The second and final leg of the Triple Crown was held at Horse Pens 40 a few weekends ago. Like the first leg at LRC, I went up with a group of climbers from my collegiate climbing club, and we camped at HP40 with the majority of the other competitors. I was a little nervous going into the competition because I hadn't climbed nearly as well as I had wanted to at LRC, and HP40 tends to give me a hard time. I also hadn't been to Horse Pens since the Triple Crown last year, so I didn't exactly...
