Edyta Ropek from Five Ten Team had won fourth edition of this year’s IFSC World Cup in speed climbing, which was held on famous dam in Valle di Daone in Italy.  After qualification round she was first, with best time 23,44 seconds on 26 meter route.

Edyta won every run in the finals, starting from the duel with Klaudia Buczek from Poland (24,74 s to 30,41 s.), than with Olena Ryepko from Ukraine (24,55 s. – fall), and in the final hit with Sara Morandi from Italy (25,34 s. – fall). It was Edyta’s day in Daone!

For her it was third time in carrier, that she had won in Daone, year after year, this is amazing, everyone was surprised! As she said after comps: “For me it’s a big success, I’m very happy that I won for the third time. I feel really strong. Now I’m preparing to the world cups in Asia, which will be held on IFSC Speed Record Wall”.

Edyta with 265 points is on second position in 2010 IFSC World Cup ranking, after Julia Lewoczkina from Russia, to whom she miss 41 points.  Edyta says: “Still I have chance to win 2010 world cup, everything would be decided in Asia.”
