A lot has happened Colorado in the last month and it's been great to be a part of it.  There are many strong climbers in Colorado who have been climbing well and its been motivating to see.  Alex Puccio and the Centuar V12, Brion Voges and almost everything in RMNP, Carlo Traversi representing with Jade and Aslan, Jimmy Webb doin' the same, Chris Webb Parsons, Angie Payne with No More Greener Grasses V12 sick!, Daniel Woods, Dave Graham, etc... the list is long!

Most exciting though has been the recent discovery and development of a new area in Mount Evans. As many already know, Lincoln Lake, searched out by many in the past, yet more recently proved worthy by a select few, holds massive potential. It's been great going up and running about the boulders knowing almost everything is untouched. Development is hard work but in the end extremely satisfying.

Its always nice to see a few people stand out and make a difference with hard work. Dave Graham, Jamie Emerson, Daniel Woods, Kevin Jorgenson and a few others have had a positive impact. Daniel started things off by opening a few boulders after being shown by Dave himself. The Great War for Civilisation, Stuntin Season, Evil Backwards are all now challenging classics opened by Daniel.

I, myself was fortunate to repeat Evil Backwards, a V14, which I witnessed Daniel climb about a week ago.  Dave Graham made the 2nd ascent about an hour before.  All in all its great to have a new area with quality problems a massive potential.  I plan on spending much of the summer up there searching out new lines and following the pack as we look into the unknown.
