Things have been going great out here in Colorado. The weather has been heating up and the snow has been melting fast. Early this month I had to take a bit of a break from the real rock and put the focus back on plastic for a bit. The IFSC Bouldering World Cup in Vail is definitely not a competition to take lightly. I've been training very hard this spring and my expectations for myself were high. After two days of difficult competition, I managed to take 13th Place! Although my goal of making finals didn't happen, I'm still pleased with the result.

Following the World Cup, I've started hitting up RMNP and Mt. Evans on a regular basis. It's a good time to be outside in Colorado. I don't have too many previously established problems to finish up out here, and following a few more successful repeat ascents, I will be putting much of my attention towards the spectacular 1st ascent potential in Colorado's alpine areas.
Also, be sure to check out the Suspension of Disbelief (V13) video that just dropped on Deadpoint Magazine. I managed the 4th Ascent of this spectacular climb back in early May, and I think the video turned out really good.
