The weather here, in Yosemite, has been a little weird and a little too wet for the month of May. Usually things are a bit dryer and the weather a bit more stable... Oh well... we can't really complain... we're in Yosemite! The last few days were rainy/snowy so we left the Valley for a few days to go sport climbing at the Jailhouse... Pretty cool climbing and really similar to Rifle. We're resting today and tomorrow we're back to some more wall free climbing in the Valley... Probably something on the Sentinel...

In the meantime here's a couple photos of my modified "Custom trad climbing Verdes"... I call them the Tradasazi...

Modified this way, these shoes are amazing for granite trad climbing (Yosemite). Straight from the box these shoes are great for face and slab climbing and with some Stealth® Paint™ on the toe-box they crack climb really well too. Note that I masked the first 2 laces holes at the tip of the shoe. This way the laces don't get in the way when you try to jam your foot, so it's less painful and the laces will last longer.
