"The Battle in the Bubble Pro Invitational was unlike any other event I've ever attended. The Redpoint Qualifier (Friday) and Onsight Semi-Final rounds were held at The Spot with the Elimination Final round taking place at the Boulder Reservoir Saturday, May 15th. The new Elimination Final Round for me was the most exciting part of the competition.

Five Final problems were set and after each problem, lower scoring competitors were eliminated. 10, 6, 4, 3, with the final 2 competitors left for the fifth and final problem. The problems were hard with big explosive moves, some technical and long. As we got to the later problems and just a few competitors, the intensity built up. Roaring with excitement, the crowd motivated us - it was amazing!"

The Spot and PCI together with all the sponsors - ASANA, Climb - It Holds, Walltopia, 5.10, Native Eye Wear and so many others put on a spectacular event.
