So the comp season is starting to wind down but the 4 largest comps still remain! I'm on my way back to Banff to spend my summer intensely training for adult tour de bloc nationals, youth route climbing nationals, the Mammut bouldering championships at the retailers show, and youth World championships in September. The comp year is going extremely well for me! I'll be heading into Tour de Bloc nationals with the top point score of all the open males.
Eric Sethna wins Tour De Bloc Eastern Regionals
I won the Tour de Bloc eastern regionals and I hope to continue my streak going into nationals. On the youth side of things, I've won every competition I've entered this year and hope to add to my track record at nationals in June (I am the 6 out of 8 time Canadian National Champion!). Following that is the Trade Show. Last year I competed in the finals of the Mammut Bouldering Championships and represented Canada against the best in the world! Then in mid-August my sister (Elise Sethna) and I plan to go to France and Scotland for some outdoor and indoor climbing before the World Championships. I'm super excited to return home after 8 months of school and climb some of the hardest and best outdoor routes in the Rockies!
I have been using the team shoe and have absolutely fell in love with the design, it is truly incredible how well they perform. I've been spreading tons of good words about them around here! So many people have asked me about them, it's great!
Thanks for your continued support! I have been having fun representing 5.10 in Ontario! I've attached a fun photo from one of the Tour de Bloc comps I was at in March.
