Five Ten Yosemite Jean Coaster Banned in China

Five Ten Yosemite Jean Coaster Banned in China

April 26, 2010 -  Five Ten

Five Ten® Yosemite Jeans have a new logo that doubles as a drink coaster. The goal is to cut down on hang tag waste--we noticed that 100% of all hangtags end up in the trash. So we designed a cool tag that doubles as a drink coaster (we recommend removing it from your jeans before placing it under a drink). But, don't expect to buy it in China!

We recently commissioned a vendor in China to make up our new hang tag for the Yosemite Jeans. However, we just received word from China that they can't make the hang tag as it has been censored! We are confused. Could it be the iconic outline of Half Dome that has them up in arms?
